Sometime last century (1997 to be exact) Des Dowling decided to turn his back on a successful career as a television reporter and enter the cut throat world of stand-up comedy.
The comedy scene gathered him in its warm embrace and he’s resided there ever since.
There have been stints on breakfast radio at 101.1 Mix FM and at talkback station 3AW while these days he’s a regular contributor to popular sports station SEN.
He’s also appeared on numerous TV shows, most recently the ABC’s comedy hit Agony Uncles.
